Lo Stivale in Daun

Anyone who manages to conjure up such delicious Italian cuisine to take away even in the November Corona lockdown would have earned 6 stars. Enjoyed bruschette, salad with salmon and Insalata Verdure to take away. Top ingredients, top preparation! Clear recommendation!

Very good Italian. The pizza and pasta were delicious. There was also chili oil and parmesan. The staff was also attentive and friendly.

We recently dined here for Formula 1. My friend took tagliatelle with salmon and I took "rigatoni al forno". The service was super friendly, the restaurant looks good and is overall nice for a stay in Daun. Unfortunately, at least my food wasn't very good. My friend's was great - it tasted great and she really liked it. My Rigatoni al forno, however, were soaked in a sauce that was far too runny in my opinion and hardly contained any minced meat, as there should be enough in "al forno" dishes. The minced meat crumbs then swam under the noodles in the watery sauce. It's a shame. All in all a nice place, and other dishes are definitely better. Recommendation? Still yes.

Seldom eaten so badly, the noodles were lukewarm, too much oil was used and unfortunately the spices were probably gone.

Nice food, we had fresh Pfifferlinge, very good. They serve the local gin, Windspiel, with its own tonic 👍

The food was delicious and fresh. The point deduction only for the service, which was very friendly but sometimes made us wait a little too long. Overall, however, a good address for Daun!

In the middle of Daun. Easily accessible on foot. Also for people with disabilities. If you come by car, there are various paid parking spaces within walking distance, one of the parking spaces in front of the shop may also be free. The reception is in a typically Italian way: warm and welcoming. As a group, we also had enough outside seating available. Our visiting time fell on a Saturday afternoon. Ice cream sundaes, chilled soft drinks and warm drinks such as coffee - in various variations - as well as teas were ordered. The day's victory went to the various strawberry cups, closely followed by the delicate, tropical banana cups (see photo, created by Angie) to the spaghetti ice cream plate and ended with specially chosen ice cream creations. Prices moderate. Service priceless, personable and helpful as well as patient. Waiting times between ordering and delivery of the various sundaes was absolutely within the framework. Smoking is permitted outside. Unfortunately, I can't write anything about the remaining rooms. Ciao.

Very good food, both the pizza and the pasta. The take away helps if you’re tired after walking on the Vulkan Eifel wonderful trails.

Why this has 4.5 stars is a mystery to me. Unfriendly personnel, slow service, so so pizzas, and really bad cappuccino. Especially the latter is a shame for any Italian restaurant!

Best pizza's we ever had! Very tasty.

Was very tasty in itself, but unfortunately the service was not quite there. Everything was empty inside, there was nice weather outside (everything was full outside) and the waitresses sometimes called things out, such as "Which table is this?" That was not nice now because it disturbed the conversation at the table. Then we ordered a Coke Light, but we got a normal Coke. We then kept the normal one at the table but calculated 2 light. In itself a very nice restaurant with delicious food but the service could be a little better
